《Cross-Border E- Commerce will map out a closer relationship between China and Czech 》 BY Mr WANG LI ZONG
Nietzsche once said "When I‘d like to express music in a single word, I would think of Vienna; to express mystery through a word, I would only think of Prague." Rambling in Prague, roaming by the Vltava River, walking across the Middle Age Charlie bridge, following after the Millennium stone path, overlooking the whole city In the sunset: the red roof, like a fairy tale; the golden spire, like living in a fantasy.
The distance between the Czech Republic and China is about 8000 miles. Physical distance keeps us miles apart, so for most Chinese, Czech is full of mystery – in a sense you could say there are 1000 Czech’s in 1000 people’s hearts.
In recent years, with the fast development of the relationship between Czech and China, China has become Czech's largest trading partner for many years in the EU. Czech has become China's second largest trading partner in central and Eastern Europe. At the same time, along with global electronic commerce, developing at an explosive rate, bilateral cooperation in trading, marketing and other aspects of human resources are also entering a new era.
China’s e-commerce has developed rapidly in recent years, which has become a new engine of economic development for the country. The dynamic engine is of great importance, and applications have been widely used in agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, consumption, services and other fields. E-commerce reduces costs, improves the efficiency of resource allocation, enhances innovation opportunities and promotes social division of labor to create more job opportunities for the future.
After Yahoo and Amazon developed in the United States, a large number of leading Chinese brands such as Alibaba, Tencent, Jingdong developed within a few years .
In 2015, China’s E-Commerce transactions rose to 16 trillion and 200 billion, an increase of 21.2%, of which the growth rate of OTO transactions reached 38.4%, and an online shopping growth rate of 37.2%. Online retail sales were at 3 trillion and 800 billion, with an increase of 33.3% over the previous year.
As we can see from these statistics, China's e-commerce industry has developed rapidly, the scale of the industry continuing to expand.
At the same time, e-commerce developed in certain areas, for example: platform services, agency business operation services, logistics services, big data, financial services, education and credit approval .
Adding to this, the integration of e-commerce continues to accelerate in areas such as the finance sector, the medical industry, education, tourism, transport and the integration of logistics.
As for China today, e-commerce has become a way of life. From daily life transactions through to the online world of dating, it is becoming more convenient, faster, no less than magical. An increasing number of people are beginning to hold more faith in Bill Gates’ prediction: " it’s either electronic commerce, or no business in the 21st Century,"".
Along with the importance of the electronic commerce industry and the improvement of the international e-commerce environment, the international e-commerce has extended from regional to cross regional, cross national borders and globalization.
Cross border E-commerce in China has developed rapidly, so it makes “global purchases” become a reality. An annual growth rate of 30% is anticipated, and it is expected to reach 1 trillion in 2020. A new model of continuous innovation and practice, to carry out multi field, multi-level cooperation, has developed between both China and the United States and China and Czech.
Cross-Border e-commerce between China and the US revealed a beneficial and positive business relationship. The Global Health Industry Goods Exchange Center was officially established in the ‘Fujian Free Trade Zone’. It is applied to the new Cross-Border E-Commerce business model which is ‘offline experience, online trading and mobile terminal’.
It is expected to trade up to 10 billion RMB in 2020. Two leading companies, China Mobile and American Express will work together to create a "new mobile global experience" in mobile payment between China and US.
Cross-Border E-Commerce between China and Czech began with a firm and co-operative business relationship. The overseas warehouse model 2.0 was implemented in the Prague, Czech and Chongqing municipal governments, to strengthen the working relationship between the two countries and to promote a solid mutual exchange.
In order to promote cooperation between China and Czech in the field of e-commerce, I propose the following:
First, expanding the establishment of cross-border e-commerce areas, to promote the construction of overseas warehouses model 2.0. The President Xi Jin Ping visited Czech, President Zeman said that Czech is willing to act as a safety harbor for the cooperation between China and Europe.
Cross-border E-commerce in Czech of public overseas positions will accept applications for domestic brands and e-commerce enterprises and provide trading support services. This has laid a solid foundation for the economic and trading exchanges between the two countries.
Second, to strive for more communication and build further co-operation and strength with the government, industry associations, Chambers of Commerce, enterprises, universities and other institutions of cooperation.
Third, to establish sea freight and air cargo service between China and Czech.
Fourth: working together to establish trading rules and service standards in E-Commerce.
Fifth: two governments have agreed and signed a strategic memorandum, improving customs, tax, legal and other aspects of the policy to promote trade and services to facilitate e-commerce and improve efficiency.
As a brief outline on how e commerce has impacted trading industry, e-commerce of Czech has enabled feasible purchasing of brands such as Bata shoes, beautiful Bohemia crystals, Pilsner beer, some of which broaden the purchasing arena and enjoyment for Chinese consumers.
It has also made it feasible for thousands of households in Czech to purchase and enjoy Chinese tea, electronic products and daily necessities. This helps nurture a mutual understanding between people from both countries. There will be more development in the medical industry, in online education and culture, and entertainment in the future, as we create more convenience and benefits!
‘All the hard work will vanish into thin air; the distance will not be far away!' Kundla, said, 'I am far away from you, but I am here, and I know you are there.”
So, let us work together, hand in hand, we can go through an amazing journey to create a better future!
